By exploring different travel options, you may find opportunities to reduce costs, improve your wellbeing and lower your environmental impact. We hope the information provided on this website helps you choose the most convenient and sustainable way to travel.

If you would like further support, advice or personalised journey planning assistance, please contact the Travel Plan Coordinator at info@getme2.com and a member of the team will respond as soon as possible.

The Benefits of Sustainable Travel

Save Money

By reducing the number of car journeys made for commuting or work-related travel, employees can make meaningful savings over the course of the year. Choosing alternatives such as walking, cycling, or public transport also helps reduce carbon emissions, allowing employees to play an active role in protecting the environment while cutting personal travel costs.

Live a Healthier Lifestyle

Walking or cycling - often referred to as active travel - is a simple way for employees to build physical activity into their daily commute. Active travel helps burn calories, get the heart pumping and improve overall fitness, without needing extra time set aside for exercise.

As well as the physical benefits, walking or cycling to work can boost mood, reduce stress and support positive mental wellbeing, helping employees arrive at work feeling more energised and focused.

Save Time

Traffic congestion is increasingly common, largely due to our reliance on cars for everyday journeys — including commuting to and from work. For shorter trips, such as travelling part of the way to work, heading to a meeting, or running errands during the working day, walking or cycling can often be quicker and more convenient than driving.

By choosing to walk or cycle, employees can avoid delays caused by congestion, save time finding parking, and enjoy a more active, stress-free journey. Even replacing part of a car journey with active travel can make a noticeable difference to wellbeing, time, and travel costs.
