Sustainable Travel

Imagine living with quiet streets, fresh air, and friendly encounters are part of everyday life. Choosing sustainable travel—whether it’s walking, cycling, or using public transport—does more than reduce carbon emissions; it strengthens our community. A morning walk to the local shop, a bike ride through green spaces, or a shared bus journey sparks connections, keeps us active, and improves our overall wellbeing. Fewer cars mean safer roads, cleaner air, and a more peaceful environment for everyone. By making small changes to the way we travel, we’re not just protecting the planet—we’re creating a healthier, happier environment for generations to come.

To promote a greener environment and to tackle climate change, Lovell Homes is keen to make sure that emissions from car trips to and from Edward’s Birch are minimised. This website has been developed as part of a wider ‘travel plan’ strategy to encourage and promote the use of alternative modes of transport to single occupancy car travel and subsequently reduce the reliance on this mode of transport.
