Why not take part and benefit in Quality time, Physical Activity, Stress Reduction and Improving the Environment with your family.<\/p>\n<p>March: International Women\u2019s Day- IWD belongs to all who care about women&#8217;s equality. Why not celebrate the women in your life by getting outside and raise awareness about discrimination women face when using active and sustainable travel. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalwomensday.com\/\">International Women&#8217;s Day 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>April: On your Feet Britain &#8211; Convert sitting time into standing time and challenge yourself and others to spend more time on your feet. Stand during phone calls, stand and take a break from your computer every 30 minutes, use the stairs instead of the lift or walk to your colleague&#8217;s desk instead of phoning or emailing them. Walking to school allows more children to reach their recommended 60 minutes minimum of physical activity per day. Why not get the rest of the family involved too! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livingstreets.org.uk\/walk-to-school\/primary-schools\/walk-to-school-week\/\">Walk to School Week<\/a><\/p>\n<p>June: Bike Week- Delivered by Cycling UK, is an annual celebration to showcase cycling. Riding a bike can easily be a part of everyday life and Bike Week is here to inspire people all over the UK to give cycling a try and travel sustainably. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclinguk.org\/\">Cycling UK | Let&#8217;s make a better world by bike<\/a><\/p>\n<p>July: Love Parks Week by Keep Britain Tidy, this week is celebrated between the 25<sup>th<\/sup> July to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> August .\u00a0Bring your community together and celebrate parks near you!<\/p>\n<p>August: Cycle to work day on Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> August workers across the UK are encouraged to swap cars and public transport out for bikes for their commute. Cycle to Work Day is the biggest cycle community event in UK and encourages employees to cycle to work as a reminder of the importance of regular exercise for a healthier and happier lifestyle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclinguk.org\/special-events\">Events and rides | Cycling UK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>September: Act Travelwise week takes place between\u00a016<sup>th<\/sup> \u00a0to the 22nd \u00a0September\u00a0each year, Travelwise week coincides with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mobilityweek.eu\/home\/\"><strong>European Mobility Week<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to promote active travel, public transport, and other cleaner and healthier transport choices, where everyone is encouraged to walk, wheel or ride. <a href=\"https:\/\/modeshift.org.uk\/travelwise-week\/\">Modeshift TravelWise Week \u2013 Modeshift \u2013 Sustainable Travel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A Bonus Event!!
