Travel by Bike

Rather than walking, you may prefer cycling which is a great way to get around the local area, and there is no limit to how far your bike can take you

As part of Conrish Park development, Lovell Homes have provided secure cycle parking to each home.

Cycling is a zero-carbon form of transport; helps build muscle and is linked to improved heart and lung capacity. It can also save you time as you filter through the traffic and avoid the queues during the community peak hours.

There is a wide range of destinations within an approximate 30-minute cycle of your new home including:

  • Tudhoe Grange – 7 minutes
  • Greenhills Business Park – 10 minutes
  • Middlestone Moor – 10 minutes
  • Charhill Wood – 15 minutes

Want to Travel Further:

  • Bishop Auckland – 35 minutes
  • Durham – 40 minutes

To the south of your new home, there are traffic free cycle paths which run from Low Spennymoor to Middlestone Moor. Within Middlestone Moor and Spennymoor, there are also a number of advisory on-road cycle routes.

The Auckland Railway Path is a 4.3mile stretch of traffic free walking and cycling routes from Spennymoor to Bishop Auckland. You can access the route from Rosa Street or Whitworth Road.
